San Diego Winter Storm

January 19, 2010 in Uncategorized by David Schloss 0 comments

We are out in San Diego this week shooting another workflow video, this time with the amazing Sara France, wedding photographer and super-great person.

The weather is getting lousy here so we took some refuge from the rain in an outside cabana and in the lobby. This shoot is going to produce some great video.

And a nice on location tip for video shooting- Target has floor lamps for $30 that take three 40 watt bulbs. I bought two and six daylight balanced bulbs and they make great video lights. Coupled with the white twin flat sheet I picked up along with the duct tape we have a nice inexpensive on location lighting solution for the darker-than-expected hotel room where we are shooting the hands on post processing part of the video.
